Five  Elements Jiu-Jitsu

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a martial art, combat sport, and self-defense system that focuses on grappling and ground fighting. It is primarily derived from Japanese Jujutsu and Judo, and uses techniques such as submission holds, joint locks, chokes, and throws to gain an advantage over the opponent.

FUNDAMENTALS

Jiu-Jitsu begins with self-defense. The fundamental program, based on Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, aims to answer the most fundamental question in martial arts: how to defend ourselves effectively in a real confrontation against someone bigger, stronger, and more aggressive, avoiding an escalation of violence.

With preparation for surprise situations, standing hand-to-hand combat, or transitions to ground fighting, Jiu-Jitsu improves our physical and psychological condition and helps us act rationally in adverse situations, trying to control the fight towards an exit, force the aggressor to give up through pressure, domination and submissions, or even, as a last resort, survive in the impossibility of winning.

PRIVATE LESSONS

Individual training, the small details, seeking to resolve specific situations or particular difficulties, is an important complement that takes all the attention devoted to one person. Whether for a beginners approach or advanced development, private lessons provide positive results, in the same way that any student in a school curriculum takes advantage of a support class for a subject where they need extra help, or continuous monitoring.

ADVANCED

The advanced class is a system of work to help develop the more graduated from a competitive point of view. Sport Jiu-Jitsu is complex and has many organisations with different rules for athletes, whether with or without Kimono.

We have to know the game to be able to adapt and perform.

KIDS BJJ

An appropriate response to the constant concern for social adaptations and the demand for physical activity is to be able to place children in a Martial Art.

Our School preserves the integrity of Jiu-Jitsu, and educates.

Jiu-Jitsu promotes self-control, self-esteem, social integration, discipline and, combined with physical activity, is an asset for children.

Practising sport in a fun environment and meeting other children is essential for your child's healthy development.
